At the Department of Neuroradiology, Medical University of Innsbruck, research funds are available for positions at the levels of student assistant and doctoral candidate. The research topics will focus on the development, realization and analysis of algorithms for clinical data mining of data coming from neuroradiological studies. The work will take place within the framework of the research project „Regularization Techniques in Learning with Big Data“ funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).

The number of hours per week is negotiable.
The applicants for the student assistant positions should be within the studies of Mathematics, or Computer Science, or a related field. The applicants for the doctoral candidate position must hold a master’s degree in one of the mentioned fields. Background knowledge in Statistics as well as good programing skills are expected.
